AI rivalry escalates with Anthropic accusing Alibaba

Anthropick, an American company, accused Alibaba and its Alibaba Coin laboratory of unlawfully exploiting its AI model, Cloud, through data scraping attacks that took place between April 22 and June 5. During this period, they collected approximately 28.8 million interactions using over 25,000 fake accounts. The company indicated that the goal was to access the capabilities of its Methos model, as part of efforts to develop cheaper yet more powerful artificial intelligence models. Anthropick also expressed support for American initiatives to combat such attacks.
