Egyptian national killed in Black Sea attack

At least one person was killed following a Russian drone attack on a Black Sea cargo ship. The strike caused a fire on the vessel, which is registered in Panama, and resulted in the death of its 58-year-old crew member. Ukrainian authorities also reported the deaths of two people in Russian shelling in the Zaporizhzhia and Odesa regions, amid an escalation in the fighting that has been ongoing since February 2022.
