AD Ports expands global freight control

Abu Dhabi Ports Group announced its acquisition of an additional 30% stake in Global feeder Shipping, bringing its total ownership to 81%, at a value of 1.1 billion AED (approximately 300 million USD). This follows the completion of its previous 51% acquisition in February 2024, with an additional mandatory purchase right by December 2026, aimed at enhancing operational capabilities and achieving greater integration across its logistics businesses. Global Feeder Shipping, headquartered in Dubai, is the fourth-largest regional container shipping company and plays a key role in the growth of the regional port shipping sector and in serving global markets.
