The Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, announced that the contracts for the Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport expansion projects will exceed a value of 55 billion dirhams (approximately 15 billion dollars). They are expected to be awarded in the coming months, with the goal of activating the first phase in 2032. Currently, contracts worth 13 billion dirhams are being implemented, having achieved over 10 million hours of work within 15 months.
