Etihad trains debut on Fujairah-Abu Dhabi route

Union Rail Company in the United Arab Emirates has launched the first scheduled passenger train journey between Fujairah and Abu Dhabi, marking the start of the phased operation of the national passenger rail network. Approximately 10,000 travelers purchased tickets before the service began, which offers guaranteed seats, Wi-Fi services, and charging options, in collaboration with the Integrated Transport Center to connect the train service with public transportation in Abu Dhabi.
