A global forum for counterterrorism has decided that addressing the use of modern technologies by extremist groups, such as artificial intelligence and encrypted communications, is a top priority. The meeting, held in Brussels with the participation of 31 international members and partners, discussed strategies to halt the financing of these groups through networks involving economic institutions and individuals linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, which is expanding within Europe. Additionally, initiatives were announced to strengthen responses to chemical, biological, and radiological emergencies resulting from terrorism.
