Rashid bin Hamad hosts Qafal Race delegation

The 35th Qafal Race is one of the most prominent heritage and sporting events in the United Arab Emirates. It has been held annually since 1991 and celebrates local maritime life and naval heritage. Hundreds of traditional sailing ships from the maritime sports community participate in the event, which covers a distance of more than 50 nautical miles.
