Ford recalls hundreds of thousands of vehicles

Ford has decided to recall more than 741,000 vehicles, including F-150, Explorer, Expedition, and Aviator models from 2018 to 2021, due to a transmission system defect. The malfunction could damage components of the parking brake system, increasing the risk of collisions caused by unintentional movement while in the parked position. Twenty-four reports of property damage and nine injuries linked to the issue have been recorded. Vehicle owners will be asked to have their cars repaired free of charge at authorized dealerships.
