Nepal flood rescuers free trapped workers

Rescuers in Nepal have successfully pulled two workers alive from the Trishuli 3A hydropower tunnel nine days after floods caused by a glacier collapse devastated the area. The workers, identified as a mechanical foreman and supervisor, were located after rescuers heard voices inside the tunnel, and are in stable condition. The floods, which killed at least 557 people and left over 5,000 missing across Nepal and Tibet, also left about 900 workers unaccounted for at multiple hydropower projects.
