NEPSAC Looks Abroad for Linemen

A program called Gridiron Imports is recruiting large international athletes, primarily football linemen, from across multiple countries to U.S. prep schools. Since its founding, it has placed 355 athletes at American boarding schools, helping 148 athletes reach NCAA programs and raising $37 million in scholarships. The initiative focuses on developing talented foreign players, many of whom come from Europe and Hungary, and has helped expand the diversity and competitiveness of high school football teams in New England.
