Trial starts for "Scrubs" producer amid assault charges
A trial has begun in Los Angeles against Hollywood producer Eric Weinberg, accused of sexually assaulting multiple women after luring them to his home under the pretense of a photo shoot. Prosecutors allege Weinberg committed over 20 sex acts, including forced oral copulation and sexual battery, during assaults on seven women between 2014 and 2019. Weinberg’s defense characterization describes him as a “creep,” arguing his conduct was not unlawful, while prosecutors presented graphic evidence of the crimes.
