Ratmir Timashev's OH.io Names New Leader

Ratmir Timashev's OH.io Ventures, launched in Columbus, aims to invest $100 million in 100 local startups over five years to accelerate AI and software companies through marketing and sales support. Kevin Pohmer, a seasoned executive from Central Ohio, was appointed chief business officer to lead the venture’s efforts to help startups scale revenues and establish a go-to-market strategy. The platform partners with early-stage firms, initially taking all revenue to fund operations, with potential for future investment, and has already collaborated with several startups including RWX and Testkube. The initiative seeks to position Columbus as a major tech hub and expand internationally, with plans to grow its staff and work with up to 25 companies within three years.
