Jewish student sues NY school over antisemitism on Oct 7 anniversary

The Lawfare Project filed a lawsuit against The New School on behalf of a Jewish Israeli-American student who faced ongoing antisemitic harassment and intimidation at the university, including name-calling and protests disrupting campus events. The legal action alleges that university officials failed to adequately address the harassment, violating legal obligations. The lawsuit, filed on the anniversary of Hamas attacks on Israel, seeks damages and emphasizes ongoing antisemitism on campuses despite some reductions.
