Buss siblings oppose Jeanie's Lakers sale move

The Buss siblings filed a legal opposition to Jeanie Buss's efforts to block the sale of their Lakers shares, arguing their plan to sell a 17.82% stake from the family trust to buyers including Joshua Kushner and Bob Iger should proceed. Jeanie contends the sale violates the trust, which requires her to maintain her role as controlling governor, and could impact her board membership due to NBA ownership requirements. The siblings, holding a two-thirds majority, maintain they have the right to sell, with the 17.82% stake valued at approximately $2.2 billion based on recent team sale valuations.
