Obama Foundation staff seek unionization over benefits

Employees at the Obama Foundation are attempting to unionize, citing concerns over increased workloads, reduced benefits, and lack of leadership support at the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago. They have signed a letter urging foundation leadership to respect their right to organize and avoid anti-union actions. The union effort, representing over 250 workers nationwide, draws on former President Obama's own statements supporting unionization. The foundation has stated it supports employees' right to organize and aims to work collaboratively with labor representatives.
