Hurricane Isaias remnants reach Columbus with heavy rain

The remnants of Hurricane Isaias are expected to bring up to two inches of rain to the Columbus area between October 10 and 11, as the storm moves through the Tennessee and Ohio river valleys after landfall on the Gulf Coast. While the storm's intensity is forecasted to weaken, there remains a risk of high winds, heavy rain, and flash floods. By early next week, weather conditions are predicted to improve, with mostly sunny skies and temperatures near 80 degrees.
