Anson Williams Opens Up on Second Career

Anson Williams, known for playing Potsie Weber on "Happy Days," recalls how the show was nearly canceled before becoming a top-rated hit. To supplement his modest acting salary, he pursued a successful singing side career after pitching the idea to perform on the show, which led to bookings at fairs and helped fund his entertainment pursuits. Williams credits this opportunity with launching his career in music and later transitioning into TV directing and social issue projects.
