Trump DOJ investigates TV networks on CNN ban

The Justice Department is investigating the five major U.S. TV networks for potential antitrust violations related to the presidential press pool, after disruptions caused by President Trump’s ban on CNN from the White House grounds. The probe, confirmed by a DOJ spokesperson, focuses on whether the networks’ boycott of covering White House events violates antitrust laws, amid ongoing litigation over Trump's actions. No comment was provided by the networks, and the investigation follows recent legal challenges and public criticism of Trump’s restrictions on certain news outlets.
