Dodgers May Consider Benchings for Ohtani

The Los Angeles Dodgers are considering removing Shohei Ohtani from their lineup for Game 3 of the NLCS after a poor performance in Game 2, where he went 0-for-4 and appeared hindered by injuries. His struggles come amid ongoing health issues, leading to questions about his readiness to contribute at full capacity. With the team facing elimination risk, alternative lineup options are being evaluated, including replacing Ohtani with rookie Josue De Paula or other hitters, to avoid further ineffective at-bats and potentially improve their chances of staying in the series.
