Transgender Woman Accused of Killing Man Over Bathroom Dispute
A transgender woman, Kelly Day, was charged with first-degree murder after stabbing a man 13 times near a Chicago gas station. The attack occurred following an argument over comments about Day's gender, and the victim died from multiple sharp force injuries, with a portion of the knife lodged in his skull. Day claimed self-defense, alleging the victim threatened her and made a gesture suggesting a gun; she was arrested within hours of the incident.
