Rare albino caribou calf spotted

A rare albino caribou calf was photographed in Alaska during a routine counting survey, marking potentially the first documented sighting since 1976. The calf's white fur, red eyes, and pink hooves made it highly visible, raising concerns about its vulnerability to predators. Biologists did not monitor the calf beyond that observation and urge the public to avoid disturbing it to ensure its survival.
