Ford's canceled F-150 EV becomes unexpectedly popular

Ford's decision to convert its F-150 Lightning electric pickup into a long-range hybrid has increased its popularity on the used market, with the vehicle selling quickly at an average price of $47,590. The last fully electric F-150 Lightning was produced in December, and Ford is now developing a new, affordable $30,000 electric pickup aimed at challenging competitors and revolutionizing the industry. The company plans to release this vehicle by the end of 2027, targeting consumers currently driving small SUVs.
