Store owner warns on bird's rising value

A dispute arose when Kelly Clarkson visited a Brooklyn shop and claimed she was treated rudely over a $15,000 mechanical bird, which she said led to a humiliating experience. The shop's co-owner, Adam Rubin, defended the store, stating the bird—attached to the wall—was not for sale and that Clarkson misunderstood the situation. The controversy intensified as the bird's value was later publicly increased to $15 million, contrasting with the original $15,000 figure, while the shop faced threats and online attacks due to Clarkson's social media posts. Rubin expressed concern for the store's safety and emphasized the shop’s focus on curiosity and entertainment.
