New Dinosaur Species Found on Isle of Wight

A new dinosaur species, Invictibellatrix amberina, dating to about 120 million years ago during the Early Cretaceous, has been discovered from a fossil found on the Isle of Wight. The species, a small, agile predator related to megaraptorans, was identified after a CT scan of a fossil overlooked for nearly a century. This discovery marks the first megaraptoran found in Europe and suggests the Isle of Wight remains a significant site for fossil finds.
