Historic Hollywood Theater Nears Reopening
The Cinerama Dome in Hollywood is planned to reopen after being closed since 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. New renderings reveal a retro-inspired renovation that preserves the theater’s original 1963 design elements, including its iconic red-and-blue Pacific’s Cinerama Theatre sign. The venue, purchased by Alamo Drafthouse, aims to restore its historic charm while its final appearance may still change.
