Irish police X accounts hacked by crypto-attack
Several social media accounts used by Irish police, including @GardaTraffic and @GardaInfo, were hacked and used to promote cryptocurrency. The accounts, which have hundreds of thousands of followers, had their branding removed, and posts linked to a suspended profile appeared, with account locations changed to Amsterdam. An Garda Síochána has been contacted for comment regarding the breach.
