Eagles likely to sign Cowboys practice squad QB amid Hurts' health

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts will miss the upcoming game against the Carolina Panthers due to a superficial blood clot in his calf. The team announced the injury following ultrasounds conducted after he practiced fully earlier in the week, with no initial signs of concern. In his absence, backup quarterback Tanner McKee will start, and the Eagles are expected to sign quarterback Joe Milton from the Dallas Cowboys’ practice squad to strengthen their quarterback roster.
