Nationwide recall of GLP-1 injections

A nationwide recall has been issued for 22 compounded GLP-1 injections containing tirzepatide, made by Apothecary Pharma, due to concerns over sterility and sanitation practices. These non-FDA-approved medications were used as alternatives during drug shortages but pose a small risk of adverse health effects. Patients are advised not to use affected vials and should consult their prescribers for proper disposal instructions.
