Melania Trump announces ceasefire for aid

First lady Melania Trump announced that she helped organize a localized ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine in Oleshky to facilitate the evacuation of elderly residents, beginning October 29. She worked as an "exclusive intermediary" with Ukrainian and Russian leaders to ensure humanitarian aid and evacuation support for the city's vulnerable population amid ongoing conflict. The effort was initiated after she learned of Oleshky's dire conditions during a private UN General Assembly meeting.
