Police detain women’s gang exploiting children in Cairo

The police managed to arrest a female gang consisting of ten individuals (seven men and three women), among whom eight have criminal records. They exploited children for begging and selling goods in Cairo Governorate. During the campaign, 13 at-risk children were apprehended, and the suspects admitted to engaging in these illegal activities. The children were returned to their families, and measures were taken to ensure their proper care, in coordination with the establishment of orphanages for children whose families could not be reached.
