Tully Berry's ex-accuses her of child assault

The news concerns the legal dispute between actress Halle Berry and her ex-husband, actor Olivier Martinez, regarding the custody of their 12-year-old son, Maceo. Martinez filed a court motion seeking sole custody, and a temporary restraining order was issued by the court preventing Berry from approaching him within 100 yards, along with specific visitation arrangements for meeting the child. Martinez accused Berry of mistreating their son, including a court-verified incident of possible assault, in addition to threats and disputes over custody matters and the relationship with the child. Berry denies the allegations and affirms her commitment to caring for her son. The legal conflict has persisted since her divorce filing in 2015, with an agreement on custody and support reached after a ruling was issued in 2023.
