Angelina Jolie highlights Gaza destruction and urges aid

Angelina Jolie expressed the extent of the destruction inflicted on the Gaza Strip by posting images showing that 82% of the buildings in the area have been destroyed. She warned that humanitarian needs are expected to increase as winter approaches. She emphasized the importance of providing humanitarian aid and shelter to the affected areas, especially given the ongoing conflict that has lasted for about three years, and the urgent need for emergency assistance to reach those in need before winter arrives. She also called for concerted efforts to meet basic needs, including delivering medical aid, rebuilding homes, schools, and hospitals, in light of the deteriorating humanitarian conditions and the widespread damage caused by the war in Gaza.
