Civil Status Dept clarifies women's ID photo rules
The Civil Status Department in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia emphasizes the necessity of adhering to the requirements for a personal photograph when issuing or renewing the national ID card for women. These requirements include that the photo should be recent, in color, clear, and free of makeup and adornments, with all facial features fully visible and without artificial expressions. It is also required that the photograph be taken within the past six months, free of spots and reflections, with the face directly facing the camera and a white background. These regulations aim to unify photograph specifications and facilitate identity verification processes in official procedures.
