Michel Milad studies Beni Mazar accent
Actor Michel Milad spoke about his preparations for his role as "Mansim" in the story "What Was Not Told About Beni Mazar" from the series "The Complete Story." He explained that he worked intensively on studying the character, traveling to the village of Beni Khaled in Minya to learn the Saidi accent, and collaborating with psychological experts to understand the schizophrenia that "Mansim" suffers from, which helped him portray a realistic and nuanced character. He also used traditional ancient folk music to immerse himself in the character's psychological state and made sure to learn precise acting movements through training with a dancer, especially for the scene where he hits himself. The writer and director confirmed that preparation requires meticulous effort and attention to detail, and that the experience was both challenging and enjoyable, highlighting the importance of field trips to gain a deeper understanding of the environment and traditions surrounding the character.
