US dollar falls to 52.47 pounds in Egypt

The US dollar's exchange rate against the Egyptian pound experienced a modest decline during today's trading on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, losing approximately 4 to 6 piastres in some banks. This change results from fluctuations in supply and demand for foreign currency. The dollar was recorded at 52.31 pounds for buying and 52.41 pounds for selling at the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr, while the highest selling price reached 52.47 pounds at Kuwait National Bank and Suez Canal Bank. This decrease occurs amidst daily market movements, with ongoing anticipation of further changes, as the prices of the dollar continue to be monitored across all Egyptian banks.
