Port Said officer faces assault charges

The security forces in Port Said were able to arrest a government employee accused of assaulting his ex-wife and her sisters, as well as breaking into their home and causing damages. This followed the circulation of a social media post that included a complaint from the woman, along with details of the assault and threats she had been subjected to. The suspect, who has a criminal record, admitted during investigations that he was responsible for the incidents, which were driven by previous disputes and his attempt to take control of the marital home. The case has been referred to the prosecutor’s office for the necessary legal procedures.
