Falcon Emirati: Leading Arab AI Model

The Technology Innovation Institute in Abu Dhabi has developed three advanced artificial intelligence models, the most prominent of which is "Falcon Emirati." This is a language model tailored to understand the Emirati dialect and culture, containing 7 billion parameters. The model aims to enhance interaction with the Arabic language in the Emirati dialect and achieves high results of up to 84.83% on the "Alyah" benchmark, outperforming all other Arabic models. Additionally, the institute launched the "Falcon ASR" model for automatic speech recognition and the "Falcon Arabic OCR" for optical character recognition from images, supporting Arabic content and facilitating various digital applications. The funding and development efforts focus on strengthening the presence of the Arabic language in the field of artificial intelligence and making services more accessible through its use.
