Trial of Fathi Al-Abyad Delayed

The Cairo Criminal Court for Economic Crimes has decided to postpone the trial of Fathi Al-Abyad, his wife, and his father in a money laundering case linked to the major drug trafficking file to the next session on November 7th. This case is part of an investigation that uncovered the activities of a criminal organization involved in importing raw materials used in drug manufacturing. Over 750 kilograms of narcotic substances and related equipment were seized. Measures have been taken to freeze the defendants' assets, and the fugitives have been placed on travel ban lists, pending the court's completion of procedures and the resolution of the charges. It is worth noting that this case is connected to the Sara Khalifa file, in which a death sentence was issued against Fathi Al-Abyad in the same case.
