Yasmena Al-Obeid at El Gouna 2026
The coverage of the 2026 El Gouna Film Festival focuses on actress Yasmine El Abed's appearance on the red carpet, where she showcased an elegant and shiny black evening gown inspired by princess styles, featuring silver and gold embroidery and simple accessories that complement a serene feminine look. Yasmine, who is currently playing the role of "Esra" in the series "Fifty Fifty," opted for a straight hairstyle and soft makeup with an emphasis on the eyes. The festival also saw a strong presence of Arab cinema, with the participation of 10 films addressing topics such as migration and social conflicts, along with honoring Egyptian director Mohamed Khan and events supporting displaced filmmakers. The festival aims to expand initiatives to promote Arab cinema and develop artistic projects.
