Egyptian Drug Authority Watches NE 100 Ads
The Egyptian Drug Authority launched a campaign to monitor advertisements related to medical devices for children, especially the "NE 100 Nebulizer" steam session device from Rossmax. The campaign identified an unlicensed advertisement on the "Rossmax Egypt" Facebook page promoting the device using promotional content that included claims about performance accuracy, rapid breathing sessions, and safety in design for children. The Authority clarified that the advertisement is unlicensed and contains misleading claims that could lead users to make incorrect decisions, which constitutes a regulatory violation. It also confirmed that the device is officially registered with them. The Authority urged the public to verify information and report any violating advertisements to ensure consumer safety.
