Nadia Mostafa: Hany Shaker statue at Opera was his wife's wish
The Egyptian Ministry of Culture has approved the installation of a statue of artist Hani Shaker inside the Egyptian Opera House, in recognition of his artistic career and contributions to the development of Egyptian and Arab music. Artist Nadia Mustafa expressed her happiness with this decision, considering it a dream come true for his late wife, Noha Tawfiq, and something that delights his fans in Egypt and across the Arab world. This gesture reflects great appreciation for Shaker's role in elevating Egypt's artistic reputation both nationally and internationally, along with an emphasis on the importance of honoring influential figures who have contributed to elevating Egyptian art.
