Tamkeen resolves Yasmine Sabri and Mohamed Sami dispute
Egyptian director Mohamed Sami announced his participation in the Ramadan 2027 competition through the series "Tamkeen," which brings together him with star Amr Saad and Yasmine Sabri. This comes after the end of a dispute that lasted over 11 years since their initial collaboration on the series "Al Ostoura" in 2016. The conflict stemmed from accusations by Yasmine Sabri of Sami deleting her scenes and disrespecting her, to which Sami responded with criticisms, claiming she didn't act well, leading her to withdraw from the project and refuse to work with him again. However, the recent photo of the two together and confirmation that the series is in production suggest that the crisis has been resolved and a new chapter has begun in their professional relationship, despite some old statements that previously reignited discussions about the disagreement. The series "Tamkeen" marks the start of a new collaboration after a long period of tension between the two.
