UAE Promotes AI and Tech Security
The United Arab Emirates reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening international cooperation to combat the use of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies by terrorist organizations and extremist groups. During a high-level UN conference, the UAE delegation discussed efforts to develop national cyber capabilities and emphasized the importance of building strong institutions and qualified human expertise to ensure the safe and responsible management of technology, in order to confront cross-border cybersecurity threats. The UAE also presented its national cybersecurity framework and called for expanding international partnerships to enhance digital capacities and maintain a stable and trustworthy cyberspace.
