XRG boosts stake in Rio Grande LNG

XRG Company announced the completion of an additional deal in the Rio Grande Liquefied Natural Gas Project in the United States, whereby it acquired an additional 7.6% stake in the fourth and fifth phases. This increases its total ownership in the project alongside its current participation. The project includes five production lines with a total production capacity of up to 30 million tons annually. Production is expected to start in the first half of 2027, with an approximate annual production capacity of 12 million tons for the two new phases. Long-term agreements are in place with strong creditworthy customers.
