FAO: Global Food Prices Fall Again in June

Global food prices fell again in June for the second consecutive month, with the index reaching 130.3 points compared to 130.8 in May. This decline reflects a 3.5% decrease in grain prices and a 5.7% drop in sugar prices. Nevertheless, prices remain 1.7% higher than the same period last year and are still 18.7% below their peak in March 2022.
