Adnoc Signs Agreement with Japan's Inpex to Supply Liquefied Natural Gas

ADNOC announced the signing of a 15-year purchase and sale agreement with Japan's INPEX to supply one million metric tons of liquefied natural gas annually from the Ruwais project in Abu Dhabi. The commercial operations of the project are set to begin in 2028. The agreement aims to enhance ADNOC’s position as a low-emission global supplier by increasing gas production to 15 million tons annually by 2035, through expansions of the Ruwais project, which is the region’s first LNG export facility powered by clean electricity.
