Al-Ghaz appoints Fahd Al-Mutrefi as new Chairman of the Board of Directors, succeeding Abdulaziz Al-Khail

The National Gas and Petrochemicals Company (Gas) appointed Fahd Salem Al-Mutrefi as its Chairman of the Board of Directors, succeeding Abdulaziz Al-Khyali following his passing in July 2026. Al-Mutrefi currently serves on the Board of Directors of SABIC Agricultural Nutrients, and brings with him 30 years of experience in the energy and petrochemicals sectors. He has previously held leadership positions, including CEO of Advance Petrochemicals. Additionally, he has been appointed as the Chairman of the Executive and Investment Committee and as a member of the Compensation and Nominations Committee. His appointment is expected to be presented for final approval by the General Assembly.
