UAE Launches First National Monitoring Center Connecting Electricity Service Providers

The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure in the UAE has launched the UAE Monitoring Center to enhance the resilience and reliability of the national power grid. The center relies on a modern platform from Siemens that provides real-time monitoring of the grid's performance, which has a capacity of around 48 gigawatts and connects electricity service providers across the country. The goal of the center is to develop a more integrated electrical system using artificial intelligence and predictive analytics, in line with the UAE’s Energy Strategy 2050 objectives.
