Saudi company Huomein and Canadian company Kohir collaborate to build AI infrastructure

Huaymin, a Saudi company affiliated with the Public Investment Fund, and Koher, a Canadian firm, announced a strategic partnership to develop dedicated computing infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, aimed at supporting the next generation of artificial intelligence models. The infrastructure is expected to become operational in the fourth quarter of 2027, with at least 50 megawatts of computing capacity allocated to Koher, with the possibility of increasing it over the next five years. The partnership aims to expand computing capabilities to develop advanced, enterprise-oriented, and sovereign models in Arabic.
