Ports reach operational milestone with transfer of 180,000 metric tons of caustic soda

The General Authority for Ports, "Mawani," achieved a milestone in supporting the transfer of more than 180,000 metric tons of caustic soda between Jubail and Ras Al Khair ports through 12 maritime shipments during the period from March to June 2026. This was carried out in coordination with SABIC, Ma'aden, and Sipchem companies to ensure the continuity of supply chains and the sustainability of vital industrial facilities. These operations adhere to the highest standards of safety and quality, further strengthening the Kingdom’s position as a global logistics hub in accordance with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
